Las Vegas Fur Con (LVFC) is back for its third year in 2025, bringing together fans of anthropomorphic (furry) art and culture for another unforgettable weekend. Hosted once again at the Alexis Park Resort and Serene Boutique in Las Vegas, the event will run from April 17 to April 20, coinciding with Easter weekend.
Since its inception in 2023, Las Vegas Fur Con has quickly grown into a major event in the furry community. The first year saw a remarkable turnout with 1,483 attendees, and in 2024, the convention hit an impressive milestone of 2,141 badges printed. As the event continues to grow, so does its sense of community and celebration of the furry fandom.
What’s New at LVFC 2025?
This year, LVFC will once again center its activities around two buyout properties: the Alexis Park Resort and Serene Boutique Hotel. These properties are exclusively for convention attendees, ensuring that furries are the only guests on-site (with the exception of the Alexis Park lobby, which houses a public theater). The convention has taken over all rooms in both properties, creating a fully immersive furry experience.
One exciting addition to the programming is Twisted Tales Escape, which is providing a thrilling escape room experience. Tickets for this escape room will be available for an additional $25.
Please note that LVFC 2025 is a 21+ event, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for adult attendees.
A Gathering for Furry Fans
Las Vegas Fur Con is more than just a convention—it’s a celebration of the furry fandom, which includes fans, artists, writers, gamers, and role-players. The furry community is diverse and global, with conventions like LVFC providing a space for members to connect, share their art, and engage in all things furry. Whether you’re attending for the first time or returning as a veteran, there’s something for everyone at LVFC.
The convention is organized by Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events (SNAE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Nevada. As part of its ongoing commitment to community health and safety, LVFC has removed its requirement for proof of vaccination, though they continue to encourage all attendees to stay up-to-date on vaccinations for the safety of everyone.
Additionally, after the convention wraps up, LVFC will hold a raffle with prizes for those looking ahead to LVFC 2026.
Vendors and Artisans Galore
One of the highlights of LVFC is its vibrant Dealers Den, Adult Dealers Den, and Artist Alley, where attendees can shop for a wide range of furry-themed merchandise, art, and more. Whether you’re seeking to add to your collection, commission a new piece of art, or simply browse, the convention’s marketplace is sure to offer something exciting.
What Are Furries?
If you’re new to the furry fandom, you might be wondering what a “furry” is. Furries are fans of anthropomorphic art, which involves animals or creatures with human-like traits. Many furries enjoy dressing up in elaborate costumes, known as fursuits, to embody their “fursonas.” Fursuits can range from full-body costumes to partial outfits featuring animal ears, tails, or paws.
It’s important to note that furries are not actually animals and do not believe they are the animals they portray. Rather, the furry community is a welcoming, inclusive space where people of all backgrounds come together to celebrate their shared interests in art, storytelling, and creativity.
Whether you’re a seasoned member of the furry community or new to the fandom, LVFC 2025 promises to be a fantastic weekend of fun, creativity, and connection. Don’t miss out on what’s sure to be another memorable event in the heart of Las Vegas!
